This event group covers a KBO (Korean Baseball Organization) matchup between SSG Landers and Samsung Lions scheduled for June 13, 2026 at 4:00 AM EDT. Polymarket offers a binary win/loss market, while Kalshi offers four separate over/under run-total markets on the same game.
This is a market on the KBO baseball game between SSG Landers and Samsung Lions, scheduled for June 13 at 4:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "SSG Landers" if the SSG Landers win the game. This market will resolve to "Samsung Lions" if the Samsung Lions win the game. If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, or ends in a tie, this market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source will be official information from the KBO. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
Resolution is determined by the total runs scored by both SSG Landers and Samsung Lions combined during the game. Each outcome corresponds to a specific run threshold: the market resolves Yes if the combined total exceeds the specified threshold (5.5, 7.5, 9.5, or 11.5 runs respectively). Only runs that count toward the official final score are included in the calculation.
Prediction markets like Polymarket and Kalshi often reflect sharper, real-time consensus than traditional sportsbooks because they aggregate continuous trader activity and allow anyone to update prices instantly. Sportsbooks, by contrast, adjust odds less frequently and build in wider margins. For the KBO: SSG Landers vs. Samsung Lions event, prediction market odds tend to move faster in response to breaking news, player availability, or weather updates. Comparing the two can reveal value opportunities—if a sportsbook line lags behind prediction market consensus, it may signal mispricing. However, prediction markets typically have lower liquidity, so large bets may move prices more dramatically.
Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts different trader demographics, liquidity pools, and fee structures, which can cause temporary price gaps. Polymarket and Kalshi may also list slightly different outcome formulations—for example, one might focus on match winner while the other emphasizes run totals—leading to divergent odds even for the same underlying event. Regulatory differences, withdrawal policies, and user base geography also influence how quickly each platform responds to new information about the KBO: SSG Landers vs. Samsung Lions. These gaps typically narrow as arbitrageurs trade across platforms, but during low-liquidity periods or breaking news, meaningful spreads can persist for hours.
Key catalysts include roster announcements, injury reports affecting star players on either the Landers or Lions, recent team form and winning streaks, head-to-head historical matchups, and weather conditions at game time. Lineup changes, managerial decisions, or trades announced close to the match can shift market odds significantly. Additionally, betting action and sharp money flowing into one side often signals informed conviction and can trigger rapid repricing across Polymarket and Kalshi. Monitor Korean baseball news outlets and official KBO communications for updates. Late-breaking developments—such as a key player being ruled out hours before first pitch—typically cause the largest market moves.
