This event group covers a KBO (Korean Baseball Organization) regular season game between Samsung Lions and SSG Landers scheduled for July 3, 2026 at 5:30 AM EDT. Polymarket offers a head-to-head winner market, while Kalshi offers four separate over/under markets on combined run totals (9.5, 11.5, 5.5, and 7.5 runs).
This is a market on the KBO baseball game between Samsung Lions and SSG Landers, scheduled for July 3 at 5:30AM ET. This market will resolve to "Samsung Lions" if the Samsung Lions win the game. This market will resolve to "SSG Landers" if the SSG Landers win the game. If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, or ends in a tie, this market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source will be official information from the KBO. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
Resolution is determined by the total combined runs scored by Samsung Lions and SSG Landers in their college baseball game scheduled for July 3, 2026 at 5:30 AM EDT. The event encompasses four distinct run-total thresholds: 5.5 runs, 7.5 runs, 9.5 runs, and 11.5 runs. Each threshold operates independently, with resolution to Yes occurring if the combined team scoring exceeds the specified threshold for that particular market. The final official score at the conclusion of the game determines the outcome, with all runs counted regardless of when they are scored during regulation play.
Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts different trader demographics, liquidity pools, and fee structures, which can cause temporary price splits. Polymarket and Kalshi may also frame outcomes slightly differently—one might focus on the match winner while the other emphasizes run totals—leading to distinct risk profiles and attracting different strategies. Arbitrage traders typically exploit these gaps, but if liquidity is thin or withdrawal delays exist, spreads can persist. Monitoring both platforms gives you a fuller picture of where consensus truly lies and where mispricings may exist.
Key catalysts include lineup announcements, injury reports on star players, recent team form and head-to-head records, and weather conditions on game day. Betting syndicate activity and sharp money flowing into one side can also shift prices rapidly. Live game developments—early runs, pitching changes, or momentum swings—will drive intraday volatility if this market offers in-play trading. Public sentiment and media narratives around playoff implications or individual player performances may influence retail traders. Monitor team news feeds and KBO official channels for updates that could reshape trader positioning before and during the match.
