This event group covers a KBO (Korean Baseball Organization) regular season game between Samsung Lions and Kiwoom Heroes scheduled for July 22, 2026 at 5:30 AM ET. Polymarket offers a binary winner-take-all market, while Kalshi offers four separate over/under markets on combined run totals (5.5, 7.5, 9.5, and 11.5 runs).
This is a market on the KBO baseball game between Samsung Lions and Kiwoom Heroes, scheduled for July 22 at 5:30AM ET. This market will resolve to "Samsung Lions" if the Samsung Lions win the game. This market will resolve to "Kiwoom Heroes" if the Kiwoom Heroes win the game. If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, or ends in a tie, this market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source will be official information from the KBO. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
Resolution is determined by the total runs scored by both Samsung Lions and Kiwoom Heroes in their Korea KBO game scheduled for July 22, 2026 at 5:30 AM EDT. Each market outcome resolves to Yes if the combined run total exceeds its specified threshold: 5.5 runs, 7.5 runs, 9.5 runs, or 11.5 runs. Official scoring follows standard baseball rules where all runs scored by either team during the complete game count toward the total.
Prediction markets and traditional sportsbooks price events differently. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets derive prices from open trading between participants with no house edge. This market reflects what thousands of traders believe will happen, often incorporating information faster than sportsbooks adjust their lines. Prediction market odds tend to be more efficient over time because traders have direct financial incentive to correct mispricings. However, sportsbooks may offer tighter spreads on high-volume events, and their odds are shaped by professional sharp bettors. Comparing both sources helps you identify value and understand how different pricing mechanisms interpret the same event.
Key catalysts include lineup announcements, injury reports on star players, recent team form and head-to-head records, and weather conditions on game day. Sharp line movement from professional traders often signals new information before it reaches casual bettors. Breaking news about roster changes, managerial decisions, or off-field developments can trigger rapid repricing. As game time approaches, pre-game betting action and live odds from sportsbooks may influence prediction market traders. Social media sentiment and expert commentary can also shift perception, especially if respected analysts highlight overlooked factors. Monitoring these signals helps you anticipate market moves and time your trades strategically.
