PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue: Kalshi's resolution criteria contains a logical contradiction: both possible outcomes (LG Twins win and Hanwha Eagles win) are stated to resolve to Yes, making the market unresolvable. Polymarket uses standard binary logic with clear outcome assignment.Hero tip: Avoid trading Kalshi until the resolution rule is clarified. The market as written cannot be settled without arbitrary platform discretion. Polymarket is the safer venue with unambiguous resolution logic.

Critical divergence points:

  • Polymarket: Binary outcome market with clear assignment: LG Twins win resolves to LG Twins, Hanwha Eagles win resolves to Hanwha Eagles. Postponements keep market open; cancellations/ties resolve 50-50. Resolution source: official KBO or credible reporting consensus.
  • Kalshi: Resolution rule states market resolves to Yes if LG Twins wins AND also resolves to Yes if Hanwha Eagles wins. This creates a logical impossibility for a binary sports outcome where exactly one team wins.
Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.
