This event group covers a single KBO (Korean Baseball Organization) regular season game between the Kiwoom Heroes and Samsung Lions scheduled for June 16, 2026 at 5:30 AM EDT. Markets on both Polymarket and Kalshi are betting on the outcome of this matchup.
This is a market on the KBO baseball game between Kiwoom Heroes and Samsung Lions, scheduled for June 16 at 5:30AM ET. This market will resolve to "Kiwoom Heroes" if the Kiwoom Heroes win the game. This market will resolve to "Samsung Lions" if the Samsung Lions win the game. If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, or ends in a tie, this market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source will be official information from the KBO. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
Resolution is determined by the final result of the Kiwoom Heroes vs Samsung Lions Korea KBO game originally scheduled for June 16, 2026 at 5:30 AM EDT. If the game is postponed or delayed, the market remains open and closes after the rescheduled game concludes within two days. Should the game be cancelled or rescheduled beyond two days, the market resolves to a fair price per established rules. In the event of a tied game, the market resolves 50/50 between outcomes.
Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts different trader demographics and operates under distinct market-making rules. Polymarket uses an automated market maker, while Kalshi employs order-book matching, leading to variations in liquidity depth and price discovery speed. Additionally, regulatory frameworks and user bases differ, so breaking news or sharp action may hit one venue before the other, creating temporary arbitrage opportunities until prices converge.
Key catalysts include lineup announcements, injury updates to star players, recent team form and head-to-head records, and weather conditions on game day. Bullpen availability, home-field advantage at the Heroes' or Lions' stadium, and any late-breaking roster changes can shift trader positioning significantly. Sharp action from professional bettors often precedes public awareness, so sudden price moves may signal information asymmetry worth investigating before the first pitch.
