On Polymarket, this market is priced through user trades and liquidity depth, while Predict may apply different fee structures or liquidity incentives. Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. This can lead to price gaps even when both venues track the same underlying event. Market depth, user participation patterns, and platform-specific trading dynamics all contribute to variations in implied probabilities. Traders watch both sides closely, as shifts in volume or sentiment on one exchange can create arbitrage opportunities or momentum effects across venues.
Injuries, weather delays, or pitching changes can shift expectations for both teams and move this market sharply. Key starters taking the mound or late-game momentum swings often drive rapid price adjustments. Bettors also watch pre-game betting trends and any last-minute roster announcements, as these affect perceived odds. Volume spikes on either platform signal rising trader interest, while lulls may indicate market stagnation until new information emerges.
