On Polymarket and Kalshi, prices can vary because each platform attracts different user bases and liquidity profiles. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For instance, one venue might see heavier betting from KBO enthusiasts, skewing its implied probability. Additionally, differing trading volumes and market design choices can amplify or dampen price movements. These dynamics often create temporary mispricings that sharp traders seek to exploit.
Injuries, weather delays, or pitching changes can all shift expectations and move this market. Key starters taking the mound or last-minute roster updates often trigger rapid price adjustments. Follow pre-game analysis, live game stats, and any news bulletins — each update may reshape trader sentiment and volume on both Polymarket and Kalshi as the contest approaches.
