On Polymarket and Predict, prices can diverge because each platform attracts different user groups and may have varying liquidity levels. Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. This often leads to differences in how quickly new information is priced in. For instance, if an unexpected lineup change is announced, one platform might update its odds faster, reflecting the reaction of its active community, while the other could lag slightly. Such variations provide opportunities to compare how distinct trading populations interpret the same event.
