Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while prediction markets, like this one, allow traders to directly set prices based on their beliefs. This can lead to discrepancies, with this market potentially offering more favorable odds or reflecting different probabilities than those available elsewhere. It's worth comparing the implied probabilities from both sources to identify potential value, though it's important to remember that both represent distinct forms of forecasting.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores in the Kayserispor vs. Istanbulspor match, and the price of each share reflects the market's collective belief about the probability of that outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe a particular score is likely, the higher the price of its corresponding shares will rise. This creates a dynamic pricing system where the odds constantly adjust based on supply and demand, providing a real-time assessment of expectations.
This market resolves around Sep 14, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final result of the Kayserispor vs. Istanbulspor match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact score at the end of regulation time will be used to determine the winning outcome. No extra time or penalty shootouts will be considered. The resolution will be based on official sources and widely available match data, ensuring a transparent and accurate determination of the market's result.
