Katie Boulter and Tyra Caterina Grant compete in the second set of their 2026 Wimbledon Women's Singles Round of 128 match on June 30. The market determines which player wins that specific set.
The market resolves based on which player wins set 2 of the professional tennis match between Katie Boulter and Tyra Caterina Grant in the 2026 Wimbledon Women Singles Round of 128. If the match does not occur before play begins due to injury, walkover, forfeiture, or cancellation, the market resolves to a fair price. If the match is postponed or delayed, the market remains open and closes after the rescheduled match concludes within two weeks. If a player retires, markets that can be unconditionally settled based on completed play resolve accordingly; those that cannot are resolved to Fair Market Price at the Exchange's discretion.
Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate the collective beliefs of traders risking real capital on outcomes. This market aggregates trader conviction about who wins the second set, which may differ from sportsbook pricing due to variations in how each venue weights recent form, injury reports, and court conditions. Comparing the two can reveal where smart money sees value relative to conventional betting lines.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through an order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the collective willingness to trade at that level, with buyers and sellers continuously updating their bids and offers as new information emerges. Shares are typically quoted between 0 and 100 cents, where the price directly represents the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As match details, player conditions, or betting patterns shift, the order book adjusts dynamically, allowing you to enter or exit positions at market-clearing prices.
This market resolves around Jun 30, 2026, once the Boulter vs Grant match concludes and the second set result is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by which player wins the set according to official tournament records or verified sports data. Resolution occurs after the match is completed and the result is confirmed through standard tennis reporting channels. Traders holding positions on the winning outcome receive their payout once the event is finalized and the market settles.
Several factors could shift odds before the match begins or during play. Pre-match catalysts include recent tournament results, head-to-head records in set play, court surface preference, and injury or fitness updates for either player. Weather conditions and court speed on match day may also influence expectations. During the first set, momentum, break-point conversion rates, and serving consistency could reshape trader views on the second set outcome. Late-breaking news about player form or tactical adjustments between sets will likely trigger repricing as new information becomes available to the market.
