Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, representing their profit margin. This market, driven by the collective wisdom of traders on Limitless, aims to reflect the true probability of the event occurring. While sportsbooks may initially set odds based on expert analysis, prediction markets can dynamically adjust as new information emerges and more people participate. It's common to see differences, especially as the event approaches and more volume flows into this market.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders can place buy and sell orders, and the price adjusts based on the supply and demand for each outcome. Essentially, the price represents the probability of 22 or more total games being played, as perceived by the traders. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price will move as traders react to news, analysis, and each other's actions. Higher volume generally indicates more confidence in the price reflecting the true probability, but significant price swings can occur with new information.

This market resolves around Sep 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
