Prediction market odds on this market often reflect sharper insights because traders can continuously adjust positions based on new data. Sportsbook odds are typically more conservative and less volatile. The difference can be notable when major developments arise — such as key player injuries or tactical changes — since prediction markets react faster to such news.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, traders set the price through their bets, which determines the current implied probability for each second-half result. The top outcome displayed reflects the aggregate of all open positions, and any significant shift in betting volume will move the odds. This continuous pricing model lets participants react instantly to new information affecting the game.
This market resolves around Aug 22, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final second-half result is compared against the market's listed options, and the correct choice is settled based on official match records. No further interpretation is needed beyond the publicly confirmed score after the second half ends.
Injuries to key players, tactical announcements from coaches, or weather disruptions could shift this market as they affect expected performance. Also, any recent form — such as a surge in goals from a specific team in the final stages of matches — may influence trader sentiment. As the start time approaches, short-term news and lineup updates will likely cause the most noticeable price swings.
