On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher perceived likelihood. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market dynamically adjusts based on supply and demand, providing a real-time assessment of expectations. This differs from fixed-odds betting, where the odds are set in advance and don't change until the event concludes.
This market resolves around Sep 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Kasyanov vs. Fedoryshyn match, as determined by the governing sporting body. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings or losses based on the final outcome. It’s important to note that the platform relies on publicly available and verifiable information to determine the resolution of this market.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Any news regarding the athletes’ form, injuries, or changes in their training regimes could significantly shift expectations. Unexpected announcements about the match schedule or venue could also play a role. Furthermore, public sentiment and expert analysis, if they deviate from the current market consensus, could prompt traders to adjust their positions, leading to price fluctuations. Monitoring these signals can help you understand potential shifts in the market’s assessment of the likely outcome.
