Prediction market odds in this market often differ from traditional sportsbook lines due to community-driven pricing and unique betting mechanics. While sportsbooks may incorporate broader analytics and adjusted margins, prediction markets let participants bet directly on their expectations, which can lead to sharper or more volatile prices. Traders should compare both sources to spot potential value, but remember that this market reflects the collective insight of its users rather than institutional setters.
On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Limitless, traders set the odds through buying and selling contracts that represent each team's chances of winning. The current implied probability for each outcome is calculated from the contract prices, creating a dynamic market rate that adjusts with each trade. This decentralized pricing captures the real-time consensus of participants, with liquidity levels influencing how quickly prices change. The system updates continuously to reflect new information and betting activity.
