Opinion
In the upcoming VCT best-of-series match scheduled for 2026-07-22 17:20 UTC: if Habos Babos wins the series, the market will resolve to "Habos Babos"; if Karmine Corp GC wins the series, the market will resolve to "Karmine Corp GC". The series winner is the first team to win a majority of games. Individual games remade due to technical issues do not count as wins toward the series. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. In cases where a team's listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50. Resolution Source: official VCT broadcast and https://valorantesports.com/; community coverage on vlr.gg may be used as a supplementary source. Note: Opinion will resolve strictly based on the first officially published result from the designated source. Any subsequent revisions will not affect this resolution.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they operate under different incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets are driven purely by trader belief and capital allocation. Traders on prediction platforms typically have strong domain knowledge and financial skin in the game, which can lead to sharper, more efficient pricing than traditional betting lines. Comparing the two reveals whether public sportsbook sentiment aligns with informed market participants on this matchup.
On Opinion, this market is priced through continuous order flow and trader consensus. On Opinion, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The platform uses a transparent mechanism where buyers and sellers directly set the odds by placing limit and market orders, creating a dynamic price that reflects real-time belief about the outcome. As new information emerges or trader conviction shifts, the price adjusts instantly. This decentralized pricing model ensures that the odds you see represent genuine market demand rather than a fixed sportsbook margin.
This market resolves around Jul 22, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result will be determined by the actual match result between the two teams. Traders holding positions will be settled based on which outcome occurred, and any remaining open orders will close automatically. Until that date, you can continue to trade your position or hold it to expiration.
Key catalysts include team roster changes, injury announcements, recent performance streaks, and head-to-head historical records. Media coverage and expert analysis leading up to the match often shift trader positioning significantly. Betting line movements from major sportsbooks can also influence prediction market prices as arbitrage-minded traders react to new information. Closer to the event date, lineup confirmations and pre-match commentary typically drive final price adjustments as uncertainty resolves and conviction hardens around the likely outcome.
