Description

In the upcoming VCT best-of-series match scheduled for 2026-07-23 16:50 UTC: if ALTERNATE aTTaX Ruby wins the series, the market will resolve to "ALTERNATE aTTaX Ruby"; if Karmine Corp GC wins the series, the market will resolve to "Karmine Corp GC". The series winner is the first team to win a majority of games. Individual games remade due to technical issues do not count as wins toward the series. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. In cases where a team's listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50. Resolution Source: official VCT broadcast and https://valorantesports.com/; community coverage on vlr.gg may be used as a supplementary source. Note: Opinion will resolve strictly based on the first officially published result from the designated source. Any subsequent revisions will not affect this resolution.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate the collective beliefs of traders who have real money at stake on outcomes. This market allows you to compare your view against both traditional betting lines and the consensus forming here, potentially identifying value when the two sources disagree on the matchup's likely winner.

On Opinion, this market is priced through continuous order-book trading, where buyers and sellers set the odds directly by placing bids and asks. On Opinion, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price you see reflects the most recent trades and pending orders, updating in real time as new information emerges or trader conviction shifts. Tighter spreads indicate higher confidence and liquidity, while wider spreads suggest uncertainty or lower trading activity.

Until that point, traders can buy and sell positions, and prices may shift as match day approaches or new team information surfaces.

Key catalysts include roster changes, recent tournament performance, head-to-head records, and player form leading up to the match. Injury announcements, coaching decisions, or surprise roster swaps can trigger sharp repricing. Scrimmage results and community sentiment shifts may also influence trader positioning. As the match date nears, any official statements from either team or updates on tournament format could accelerate price movement in either direction.
