Description

This set of markets tracks the performance of Kansas City and Pittsburgh during the first three innings of their scheduled baseball game. It allows participants to speculate on which team will lead after these early stages or whether the game will be tied. The outcomes are determined solely by the results of those specific innings, independent of the final game result.

Kalshi

The markets resolve based on the relative performance of Kansas City and Pittsburgh during the first three innings of their professionally scheduled game on September 18, 2026, at 6:40 PM EDT. If Kansas City holds a lead after these innings, the 'Kansas City wins first 3 innings' market resolves to Yes, and the 'Pittsburgh wins first 3 innings' and 'Tie first 3 innings' markets resolve to No. Conversely, if Pittsburgh leads after three innings, the 'Pittsburgh wins first 3 innings' market resolves to Yes, with the other two markets resolving to No. Should the teams be tied after the first three innings, the 'Tie first 3 innings' market resolves to Yes, and both team-specific markets resolve to No. If the originally scheduled game is postponed or delayed, all markets remain open and will resolve after the rescheduled game concludes, provided the reschedule occurs within two days of the original date. The resolution depends strictly on the inning-by-inning scoring and is unaffected by the final game outcome.
