This market focuses on determining which team will score more runs in the first inning of an upcoming baseball game. It provides a quick snapshot of early-game performance, reflecting the offensive strength and strategic starts of each team within the first few pitches.
The market resolves based on the number of runs each team scores specifically during the first inning of the designated game. If Kansas City scores more runs than Pittsburgh in that inning, the 'Kansas City wins 1st inning' market resolves to Yes. Conversely, if Pittsburgh scores more runs than Kansas City, the 'Pittsburgh wins 1st inning' market resolves to Yes. Should both teams score an equal number of runs, the 'Tie 1st inning' market resolves to Yes. If the game is called or interrupted before the first inning is fully completed, all markets resolve to a Fair Price. Only runs scored within the first inning are considered; performance beyond this period does not affect the outcome.
