Each market has a primary condition tied to a player recording a specific number of RBIs (1+, 2+, or 3+ for Byron Buxton; 1+ or 2+ for Vinnie Pasquantino). If the named player is scratched, not in the starting lineup, or fails to record a plate appearance, the market resolves to the fair market price. Pinch-hit at-bats are excluded from consideration. Only when the player is in the starting lineup and records at least one plate appearance will the market settle based on the RBIs actually achieved during the game. These rules ensure consistent and fair settlement regardless of late-game changes or substitutions.
