These markets focus on the relationship between the first half and full game outcomes in an upcoming professional football match. They resolve based on whether specific combinations of first half and full game results occur, requiring both halves to match the predicted scenario for a positive resolution.
All markets resolve based on the combined outcome of the first half and the full game (including overtime) of the specified Kansas City vs Miami Pro Football game scheduled for September 27, 2026. A market resolves to 'Yes' only if both the first half result and the full game result exactly match the conditions specified in the market title. If either the first half or full game result does not align with the market's requirements, it resolves to 'No'. Postponements that commence within 48 hours of the original scheduled start time allow markets to remain open and resolve based on the final official result. Games not starting within 48 hours of the scheduled time will resolve to a fair price. All markets are independent and require precise alignment of both halves' outcomes to settle positively.
Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect information and analysis more quickly than traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on power rankings and public perception, while this market aggregates the wisdom of the crowd. As new information emerges – such as injuries or strategic changes – the prices in this market can adjust rapidly. However, sportsbook odds are often influenced by promotional offers and hedging strategies, which can create differences. It's common to see discrepancies, especially closer to the event date, as both types of markets converge on the most likely outcome.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing the probability of each outcome. The price of a contract reflects the market’s collective belief about the likelihood of that outcome occurring. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the prices converge towards what the market deems a fair representation of the odds. The current top outcome, as indicated by the highest price, doesn't necessarily mean it's the most probable, but rather the outcome with the most demand from traders willing to pay for it.
This market resolves around Sep 27, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the Super Bowl LVIII winner is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final result will be determined by the official outcome of the game, as reported by official sources. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The platform will then verify this information to determine the winning outcome in this market, and payouts will be processed accordingly.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Major player injuries to key players on either team would undoubtedly cause price fluctuations. Unexpected coaching changes or shifts in game strategy could also influence trader sentiment. News regarding team morale, weather forecasts for the game location, and even significant betting patterns in traditional sportsbooks could all contribute to price movements. Any information that alters the perceived probability of either team winning is likely to be reflected in the prices on Kalshi.
