Description

This set of markets tracks the outcome of the first seven innings of an upcoming professional baseball game between two teams. It allows participants to speculate on whether one team will lead, the other will lead, or if the game will be tied after those initial innings. The resolution depends solely on the state of the game at that specific midpoint, regardless of what happens in later innings.

Kalshi

The markets resolve based on the result of the first seven innings of the professional baseball game scheduled between Kansas City and Houston on September 16, 2026. If Kansas City leads after seven innings, the 'Kansas City wins first 7 innings' market resolves to Yes, and the 'Houston wins first 7 innings' and 'Tie first 7 innings' markets resolve to No. Conversely, if Houston leads after seven innings, the 'Houston wins first 7 innings' market resolves to Yes, and the other two markets resolve to No. If the game is tied after seven innings, the 'Tie first 7 innings' market resolves to Yes, and both team-specific markets resolve to No. If the originally scheduled game is postponed or delayed, all markets remain open and will resolve after the rescheduled game concludes, provided the reschedule occurs within two days of the original date. The outcome of the full game beyond the first seven innings does not affect these markets.
