Description

This set of markets tracks the performance of two baseball teams over the first three innings of their scheduled game. It allows participants to speculate on which team will lead after these early stages, or whether the game will be tied. The outcome depends solely on the scoreboard at the end of the third inning, regardless of what happens later in the game.

Kalshi

The markets resolve based on the relative performance of Kansas City and Houston over the first three innings of their professionally scheduled game on September 15, 2026. If Kansas City holds a lead after three innings, the 'Kansas City wins first 3 innings' market resolves to Yes, and the 'Houston wins first 3 innings' and 'Tie first 3 innings' markets resolve to No. Conversely, if Houston leads after three innings, the 'Houston wins first 3 innings' market resolves to Yes, with the other two markets resolving to No. Should the teams be tied after three innings, the 'Tie first 3 innings' market resolves to Yes, and both team-specific markets resolve to No. If the game is postponed or delayed, all markets remain open until they can be resolved after the rescheduled game concludes, provided the reschedule occurs within two days of the original date. The markets are independent of any broader game outcome and focus exclusively on the standing after the third inning.
