This market will resolve to "Chicago White Sox" if the Chicago White Sox win the game. If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. The primary resolution source for this market is the official final statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Kalshi and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts different trader demographics, liquidity pools, and fee structures, which naturally creates temporary price gaps. Predict and Kalshi may also have slightly different market mechanics—such as order-book depth, minimum bet sizes, or promotional incentives—that influence how quickly new information gets priced in. Arbitrage traders often exploit these spreads, but differences can persist if one venue has stronger conviction or lower participation at a given moment.
Key catalysts include team roster updates, starting pitcher announcements, and weather forecasts closer to game day—all of which influence scoring pace and the likelihood of a tie after nine innings. Injury reports to star hitters or relievers can shift expectations around offensive firepower and bullpen fatigue. Historical head-to-head trends, recent form, and playoff momentum may also drive trader sentiment. As the game date approaches, real-time line movement on this market often reflects sharp money reacting to late-breaking news or model adjustments.
