Prediction market odds on this market often diverge from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect trader sentiment and can adjust faster to new information. While sportsbooks set fixed odds based on broader analytics, prediction markets price in real time, incorporating crowd insights and recent performance data. For example, if a key player is injured just before the game, prediction markets may shift sharply within hours, whereas sportsbooks change more gradually. The spread between the two can also vary with volume; higher trading activity on Polymarket or Opinion can push prices toward or away from sportsbook benchmarks.
