The primary resolution source for this market is the official final statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 24 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Polymarket and Kalshi use different contract designs and trader bases, which naturally produces price divergence. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Polymarket typically offers binary outcomes (win/loss), while Kalshi structures contracts around specific run margins, attracting different trading strategies and risk profiles. Liquidity depth, fee structures, and user demographics also vary between platforms. These differences mean identical underlying events can trade at materially different odds—a key reason multi-platform tracking reveals arbitrage signals and market inefficiencies.
Key catalysts include lineup announcements, starting pitcher confirmation, and injury updates for star players on either roster. Weather forecasts—wind direction and speed significantly impact fly-ball outcomes—often trigger sharp repricing. Betting market movement at major sportsbooks can signal professional action flowing into this market. Recent team form, head-to-head records, and bullpen availability also drive trader sentiment. Monitor sports news and team social media closely; unexpected roster changes or weather shifts in the hours before first pitch frequently create volatility.
