Description

This market will resolve to "YES" if Kai Havertz scores the most goals across all main tournament rounds of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "NO." If the 2026 FIFA World Cup is cancelled or postponed after July 31, 2026, 23:59 UTC, or no official top goalscorer is declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "NO." The primary resolution source will be official information from FIFA.com; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

Frequently asked questions

On Limitless, the dashboard for the 2026 World Cup top scorer race displays real-time odds and price movements as traders assess which player will finish the tournament with the most goals. The interface shows historical price data, allowing you to track how market sentiment has shifted over time as new information emerges. You can monitor trading activity and liquidity to gauge confidence levels among participants. This market captures collective forecasting on one of football's most watched individual achievements, updated continuously as the tournament approaches and unfolds.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets are driven by traders seeking profit through accurate forecasting. Prediction markets typically incorporate a broader range of information and can adjust more fluidly as new data arrives. For this market, comparing Limitless odds to major sportsbook lines on the same player can reveal where consensus differs, potentially highlighting undervalued or overvalued outcomes based on public betting patterns versus informed trader positioning.

On Limitless, this market is priced through continuous order-book matching, where traders buy and sell shares representing each player's probability of winning the top scorer award. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the collective belief of all active traders at that moment. As new evidence emerges—injuries, form changes, team dynamics, or tournament developments—traders adjust their positions, moving prices up or down. This mechanism ensures the market price converges toward the true likelihood of each outcome over time, rewarding accurate forecasters and penalizing poor predictions.

Major shifts in this market may occur following player injuries, transfers to stronger clubs, or changes in national team lineups and tactics. International qualifying performance, pre-tournament friendlies, and coaching decisions all influence expectations. Shifts in team strength—such as unexpected qualification or elimination of key nations—can reshape odds for their star forwards. Individual form during domestic seasons, age and fitness developments, and even managerial changes at club level can sway trader positioning. As the tournament approaches and begins, each match result and standout individual performance will trigger rapid repricing across the board.
