Two esports teams will compete in a strategic gaming match where each map's outcome determines specific outcomes. The first market focuses on whether one team secures victory on the third map of their scheduled match.
The market resolves to Yes if the specified team wins the designated map in the Circuito Desafiante 2026 match scheduled for September 14, 2026, at 4:00 PM EDT. If the match or map is postponed beyond 48 hours, cancelled, or forfeited before play begins, the market resolves to the fair market price. If a map begins and is later forfeited, resolution follows the official result from the governing body. Kalshi is not affiliated with the governing league, and all trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Often, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from those offered by sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set initial lines based on their own analysis, while this market allows traders to express their own beliefs, potentially leading to different probabilities. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook has mispriced an outcome, the odds here will adjust accordingly. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially before a lot of information becomes available or if there’s strong public sentiment surrounding a team. Comparing the two can be a useful exercise for informed decision-making.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing the probability of each outcome. The price of a contract reflects the market’s collective belief about the likelihood of that outcome occurring. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information emerges, the prices adjust to reflect the evolving consensus. Currently, the market indicates a certain level of confidence in Estral Esports, but this can change rapidly based on trading activity and external factors. The goal is to find a price that accurately represents the true probability of the event.
This market resolves around Sep 14, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of map 3 in the KaBuM! Ilha das Lendas versus Estral Esports League of Legends match. The winning team as declared by the game’s official results will determine the winning contract. Traders who correctly predicted the outcome will receive a payout based on the final market price at resolution, while those who predicted incorrectly will forfeit their stake.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before it resolves. Any news regarding player form, team strategies, or potential roster changes for either KaBuM! Ilha das Lendas or Estral Esports could shift trader sentiment. In-game performance during the earlier maps of the series might also provide clues about each team’s strengths and weaknesses, impacting the odds. Unexpected announcements related to the tournament itself, such as rule changes or venue adjustments, could also cause movement. Ultimately, any information that alters perceptions of each team’s chances of winning map 3 has the potential to move this market.
