The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from those offered by traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and need to account for profit margins, while this market is driven purely by traders’ beliefs about the outcome. If a significant discrepancy exists, opportunities may arise for arbitrage – however, it’s important to remember that prediction markets are forward-looking and incorporate information that sportsbooks may not yet have fully priced in. Comparing these odds can offer a broader perspective on the potential result.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market’s collective belief about the probability of that score occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust accordingly. The current price indicates the implied probability of each exact score, and traders are incentivized to provide accurate predictions, as profitable trades are rewarded.
This market resolves around Sep 19, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final result of the KA Akureyri vs. Thor Akureyri match – the exact score – will be used to determine which shares pay out. It’s important to note that the resolution process relies on publicly available and independently verifiable data to ensure a fair and accurate outcome for all participants in this market.
Several factors could influence the price movement of this market. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in team form, or even weather conditions could impact traders’ expectations. Unexpected announcements about team strategies or key player availability would also likely cause shifts in the odds. Furthermore, significant betting activity – a large influx of volume on a particular exact score – could also signal changing sentiment and move the market accordingly. Monitoring these signals can help you understand the evolving dynamics of this market.
