Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance liability and extract a margin, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. This market may show higher or lower implied probabilities than major sportsbooks, depending on whether informed traders on Polymarket have identified value the books have missed. Comparing the two can reveal arbitrage opportunities or signal where professional and retail sentiment diverge on the second-half outcome.
On Polymarket, traders set prices through an automated market maker that adjusts odds based on order flow and share inventory. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome in this market has a price between 0 and 1, representing the implied probability that outcome occurs. As traders buy shares predicting a particular second-half result, the price for that outcome rises and prices for alternatives fall. This continuous repricing mechanism ensures the market reflects the latest consensus among active participants, with spreads tightening as liquidity increases and widening during low-activity periods.
This market resolves around Jul 22, 2026, once the KÍ versus Ludogorets match concludes and the second-half result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by the official final score recorded for the second half only, independent of the first-half scoreline. Winning positions are those that correctly predicted whether KÍ won, Ludogorets won, or the teams drew during that period. Resolution occurs after sufficient confirmation from authoritative sports data sources, ensuring accuracy before payouts are distributed to holders of the correct outcome shares.
Market prices for this outcome may shift based on team news such as injury announcements, lineup changes, or tactical adjustments revealed before kickoff. Real-time match events—including early goals, red cards, or momentum swings during the first half—often trigger repricing as traders update their second-half expectations. Betting syndicates or sharp money entering the market can also move odds significantly. Weather conditions, venue factors, and recent form updates may influence trader sentiment. As the match progresses into the second half, live scoring and in-game developments will drive continuous price adjustments until the final whistle.
