In the upcoming Serie A game between Juventus FC and AC Milan, scheduled for September 6, 2026 at 2:45 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the halftime score of the Juventus FC vs. AC Milan match originally scheduled for September 6, 2026 at 2:45 PM ET, considering only goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time; second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual halftime score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a more accurate aggregate forecast than traditional sportsbook odds. This is because prediction markets incentivize participants to reveal their true beliefs, leading to a 'wisdom of the crowd' effect. While sportsbooks may incorporate biases or margins for profit, this market allows traders to directly express their views on the probability of each exact first-half score. Discrepancies between prediction market prices and sportsbook odds can sometimes present opportunities for arbitrage, though these are often quickly exploited by informed traders.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact first-half scores. The price of each share reflects the market’s collective belief about the probability of that score occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market's efficiency is driven by the incentive for traders to accurately assess the likelihood of each outcome and profit from correctly predicting the result.
This market resolves around Sep 6, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score at the end of the first half of the Juventus FC versus AC Milan match will determine the winning outcome. The resolution will be based on the official match data, ensuring a transparent and verifiable result. Traders will be able to claim their winnings based on the final, confirmed first-half score.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Late-breaking news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Juventus or Milan would likely cause significant shifts in the odds. Changes in team formations or tactical approaches announced before kickoff could also move the market. Even weather conditions on match day, such as heavy rain, might affect expectations about the likely scoreline and influence trading behavior. Any unexpected developments leading up to and during the first half could trigger substantial price movements.
