Opinion
In the upcoming European Pro League best-of-series match scheduled for 2026-07-20 08:10 UTC: if Walczaki wins the series, the market will resolve to "Walczaki"; if Just Players wins the series, the market will resolve to "Just Players". The series winner is the first team to win a majority of games. Individual games remade due to technical issues do not count as wins toward the series. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. In cases where a team's listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50. Resolution Source: HLTV (https://hltv.org); if HLTV has not published the result within 2 hours after the series' conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. Note: Opinion will resolve strictly based on the first officially published result from the designated source. Any subsequent revisions will not affect this resolution.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of traders risking real capital. This market may show different implied probabilities than traditional sportsbooks, especially as new information emerges or as one venue attracts more volume than the other. Comparing the two can reveal where sharp traders see value relative to conventional betting lines.
On Opinion, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders submit bids and asks for shares representing each outcome. On Opinion, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price reflects the most recent matched trade, and the spread between buy and sell orders shows the cost of immediate execution. As more traders participate, prices adjust to reflect new information and shifting expectations, ensuring the market stays responsive to developments leading up to the event.
This market resolves around Jul 20, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. At that point, shares tied to the correct result are paid out at full value, while incorrect shares expire worthless. The resolution process is designed to be transparent and based on widely available information, ensuring all traders can verify the result independently.
Key catalysts include team roster changes, recent performance trends, head-to-head matchup history, and any injury announcements or lineup adjustments announced closer to game day. Media coverage and expert analysis can also shift trader sentiment, as can unexpected developments in either team's season trajectory. Real-time updates during the lead-up to the event typically drive the most significant price swings, as traders incorporate fresh information and adjust their positions accordingly.
