Prediction market odds often reflect a different outlook than traditional sportsbook lines. On Polymarket, traders are directly betting on outcomes, which can incorporate insider insights, recent performance data, and shifting public sentiment. Sportsbook odds, set by professional oddsmakers, may lag behind these real-time adjustments, resulting in variance between the two. This market tends to price in nuances faster due to its decentralized nature.
