Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds on Polymarket often diverge from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect real-time trader conviction rather than fixed bookmaker margins. Sportsbooks typically build in a 4–5% edge, while prediction markets aggregate live belief across many participants. For the Jordan vs. Algeria second half, comparing Polymarket implied probabilities to major sportsbook odds reveals whether the crowd is more or less confident than professional oddsmakers. Sharper traders often spot value by identifying gaps between these two pricing mechanisms.

On Polymarket, the Jordan vs. Algeria second-half outcome is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader buy and sell orders into real-time probabilities for each result. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Prices move continuously as new wagers flow in, reflecting the collective forecast of all active participants. The current price directly represents the market's implied likelihood of that outcome occurring. Liquidity depth and recent trade volume influence how quickly prices respond to new information or shifting sentiment about the match.

The Jordan vs. Algeria second-half market resolves at Jun 23, 2026.
