Typically, prediction market odds, like those found on Polymarket, often reflect a more accurate assessment of probabilities than traditional sportsbook odds. This is because prediction markets aggregate the knowledge and insights of many individuals, incentivized to make correct predictions. Sportsbooks, while employing analysts, may be influenced by factors like house bias or public perception. However, discrepancies can occur due to differing market efficiencies and the specific information factored into each pricing model. It’s important to compare both to gain a comprehensive view before making a decision.
