On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous exchange where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of these shares directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information emerges, the price adjusts to incorporate this collective intelligence. This creates a dynamic and responsive pricing mechanism, distinct from fixed-odds betting typically found elsewhere.
This market resolves around Sep 19, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Jirousek vs. Farsky match, as reported by the governing sporting body. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will receive a payout equivalent to 1 USDC per share, while those holding shares in the losing outcome will receive nothing. This ensures a clear and objective determination of the market's outcome.
Several factors could influence the price of this market. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in playing conditions, or even significant shifts in public opinion could cause traders to reassess their probabilities. Unexpected announcements about team strategies or player form could also lead to price movements. Furthermore, large trades on Polymarket by informed traders could signal new information or a change in sentiment, prompting others to adjust their positions and impacting the overall market price.
