The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance liability and extract margin, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. For this market, comparing the implied probability on Polymarket to published sportsbook lines can reveal whether professional oddsmakers and retail traders agree on the likelihood of each scoreline. Persistent gaps may signal information asymmetry or differing risk appetites between venues.
This market resolves around Aug 1, 2026, once the Jeonbuk versus Seoul match concludes and the final scoreline is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the exact goal tally at full-time, with no extra time or penalty shootout outcomes affecting the result. Traders holding contracts matching the verified final score receive their payout, while all other positions expire worthless.
Team news—injuries to key strikers or defensive absences—can shift scoring expectations and reshape the odds for high-scoring versus low-scoring outcomes. Recent form, head-to-head history, and lineup announcements closer to kickoff typically trigger repricing as new information reaches traders. Weather conditions, referee assignments, and late-breaking tactical changes may also influence the probability distribution across scorelines. As match time nears, volume often spikes as bettors finalize positions based on the most current intelligence.
