This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result for the cricket match between Tokyo Titans CC and Tigers CC scheduled for 2026-06-27 in JCL T20. This market resolves according to (1) the official toss result and (2) the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. The outcome corresponding to Tokyo Titans CC will be considered correct if Tokyo Titans CC is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to Tigers CC will be considered correct if Tigers CC is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and will then resolve as described above.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different mechanisms. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and manage risk, while prediction markets like this one are priced by traders themselves, creating a crowdsourced probability estimate. Prediction markets typically incorporate real-time information and can adjust faster to breaking news or shifting sentiment. Comparing this market's odds to traditional sportsbook lines can reveal where professional oddsmakers and crowd wisdom align or diverge on the toss outcome.
On Polymarket, traders set the price of this market through an automated market maker mechanism, where buying and selling pressure directly moves the odds. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price reflects the collective belief of all participants about the toss outcome, updated continuously as new trades execute. Higher prices indicate stronger conviction that a particular result will occur, while lower prices suggest lower perceived probability. This decentralized pricing model ensures the market remains responsive to new information throughout the trading period.
This market resolves around Jul 5, 2026, once the toss result from the Tokyo Titans versus Tigers match is confirmed and verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will reflect the actual coin toss decision made at the start of the match. Traders holding positions aligned with the verified result will receive their payouts, while positions on the incorrect outcome will expire worthless. Resolution timing depends on official match documentation and reporting.
Several factors could shift this market before resolution. Team news, injury announcements, or weather updates may influence trader expectations about which captain will call the toss correctly or how the coin will land. Social media sentiment, expert commentary, and historical toss patterns in similar conditions can also sway prices. As the match date approaches and more information becomes public, traders may adjust their positions based on perceived advantages or disadvantages for either side, causing price swings in this market.
