This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result for the cricket match between Kawasaki Knight Riders CC and Serendib CC scheduled for 2026-06-26 in JCL T20. This market resolves according to (1) the official toss result and (2) the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. The outcome corresponding to Kawasaki Knight Riders CC will be considered correct if Kawasaki Knight Riders CC is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to Serendib CC will be considered correct if Serendib CC is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and will then resolve as described above.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different mechanisms. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and manage risk, while prediction markets like this one aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. This market's odds emerge from real-money trading rather than a bookmaker's margin calculations. Comparing the two can reveal valuable insights: if sportsbook odds differ significantly from prediction market prices, it may signal where informed traders see mispricing. Both sources offer useful signals, but prediction markets often reflect crowd wisdom more directly since traders have direct financial incentive to forecast accurately.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader orders into real-time probability quotes. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome, and the price of each share reflects the collective belief in that result. As more capital flows toward one outcome, its price rises and the competing outcomes fall. The current odds reflect the latest equilibrium between buyers and sellers. This continuous price mechanism ensures that the market remains liquid and responsive to new information about the toss result and match dynamics.
This market resolves around Jul 4, 2026, once the event concludes and the outcome is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution hinges on the actual result of the toss match double between the two teams. Once the event is finalized and confirmed through reliable sources, the market will settle accordingly. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will receive their payout, while incorrect positions expire worthless. The exact timing may shift slightly depending on when official confirmation becomes available, but the end date provides the target window for resolution.
Several factors could shift prices in this market before it resolves. Team roster changes, injuries to key players, or weather conditions affecting the match could influence trader expectations. Recent form and head-to-head records may prompt repricing as new data emerges. Social media sentiment and expert commentary can also sway the crowd. Any official announcements from the league or teams—such as lineup confirmations or venue updates—could trigger significant price movement. As the match date approaches, uncertainty typically decreases and prices stabilize, but unexpected developments right before the event can still create volatility and trading opportunities.
