Jan-Lennard Struff and Martin Landaluce compete in the 2026 ATP Mallorca Round of 32 professional tennis match on June 22. The market tracks the exact final set score of the match.
This event resolves based on the final set score of the Jan-Lennard Struff vs Martin Landaluce professional tennis match in the 2026 ATP Mallorca Round of 32. Each market outcome corresponds to a specific set score result: Struff winning 2-0, Struff winning 2-1, Landaluce winning 2-1, or Landaluce winning 2-0. If the match does not occur before it starts due to injury, walkover, forfeiture, or cancellation, the market resolves to a fair price. If the match is postponed or delayed, the market remains open and closes after the rescheduled match concludes within two weeks. If a player retires, markets that can be unconditionally settled based on completed play resolve accordingly; those that cannot be settled resolve to Fair Market Price at the Exchange's discretion.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. This market may show different implied probabilities than traditional sports betting sites because traders here have direct financial exposure to the exact outcome, creating potentially sharper pricing. However, both venues ultimately respond to the same underlying event, so significant gaps typically narrow as match day approaches and new information surfaces.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through an order-book mechanism where traders submit bids and asks for shares tied to each possible exact score outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome contract reflects the probability traders assign to that specific result, with higher prices indicating greater perceived likelihood. As traders buy and sell shares based on new information—such as player form, head-to-head records, or surface conditions—prices adjust in real time. This continuous auction process ensures that the market price converges toward the true probability of each exact score scenario.
This market resolves around Jun 22, 2026, once the Struff vs Landaluce match concludes and the final exact score is confirmed. The outcome is determined by the verified result of the match, checked against credible public sources such as official tennis tour records or established sports data providers. Traders holding shares in the correct exact score outcome receive their payout once the event is finalized and the market settles. Until that point, prices may fluctuate as new developments or match updates influence trader expectations.
Several factors could shift prices significantly before resolution. Recent performance trends, injury reports, or withdrawal announcements involving either player would trigger immediate repricing. Changes in court conditions, weather forecasts, or tournament scheduling could also influence expectations about match dynamics and likely scorelines. Head-to-head history and surface-specific statistics often drive early positioning. As the match date approaches, any official updates from the tour or player camps—such as fitness confirmations or tactical adjustments—may prompt traders to adjust their positions. Finally, once play begins, live match developments will cause rapid price movements reflecting the unfolding result.
