Jan Choinski and Yibing Wu compete in a professional tennis match during the 2026 ATP Eastbourne Qualification Round 1 on June 21. These markets track the exact set score by which one player defeats the other.
This event encompasses four distinct match outcomes based on the final set score of the Jan Choinski vs Yibing Wu professional tennis match in the 2026 ATP Eastbourne Qualification Round 1. Each market resolves to Yes if its corresponding outcome occurs: Jan Choinski winning 2-0, Jan Choinski winning 2-1, Yibing Wu winning 2-1, or Yibing Wu winning 2-0. If the match does not occur before it starts due to injury, walkover, forfeiture, or cancellation, all related markets resolve to a fair price. Should the match be postponed or delayed, markets remain open and close after the rescheduled match concludes within two weeks. If a player retires mid-match, any market with an unconditionally determined outcome based on completed play resolves accordingly; markets that cannot be settled resolve to Fair Market Price at the Exchange's discretion.
Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are driven by traders risking real capital on their beliefs about the outcome. This market aggregates dispersed information from many independent participants, which can reveal edges that sportsbooks have not yet priced in. Comparing the two can highlight where public sentiment or expert analysis may differ from bookmaker consensus.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through an order-book mechanism where traders submit bids and asks for shares corresponding to each possible exact score outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the balance of buy and sell orders at any given moment, with active trading pushing prices toward equilibrium. As new information emerges or trader conviction shifts, the bid-ask spreads tighten or widen, and prices adjust to reflect the latest consensus on the likelihood of each scoreline.
This market resolves around Jun 21, 2026, once the Choinski vs Wu event concludes and the final score is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by the exact scoreline recorded at the end of the match. Traders holding shares in the correct exact score outcome will receive their payout, while incorrect predictions expire worthless. Resolution hinges on the official, confirmed final score being available and cross-checked against reliable sources.
Several factors can shift odds in this market before resolution. Injury announcements or roster changes affecting either competitor will likely trigger repricing as traders reassess performance expectations. Recent form, head-to-head history, and public betting trends can all influence how traders position themselves. Media coverage, expert analysis, and any official statements from the competitors or event organizers may also sway sentiment. As the event date approaches, late-breaking news or weather conditions could prompt sharp moves in the odds for specific scorelines.
