In the upcoming Concacaf Nations League game between Jamaica and Honduras, scheduled for September 28, 2026 at 8:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Jamaica vs. Honduras match originally scheduled for September 28, 2026 at 8:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd perspective, often incorporating information and analysis from a diverse range of participants. This can lead to differences compared to sportsbook odds, which are typically set by professional oddsmakers. Sportsbooks may emphasize factors like public betting patterns or perceived biases, whereas this market relies on the collective judgment of traders. It’s common to see prediction markets offer more accurate probabilities, particularly when there’s significant information asymmetry or a complex event like determining the exact score of a soccer game.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact score outcomes. The price of each share directly reflects the market’s implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust accordingly. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price movements are driven by supply and demand – if many traders believe a particular score is likely, they will buy shares, driving up the price and increasing its implied probability. Conversely, if traders believe an outcome is unlikely, they will sell shares, lowering the price.
This market resolves around Sep 29, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the Jamaica vs. Honduras match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result declared by the governing soccer authority. The platform will then determine the winning outcome based on the actual final score, and shares will be settled accordingly. Traders holding shares in the correct outcome will receive a payout, while those holding shares in incorrect outcomes will forfeit their investment. It’s important to monitor the event’s progress leading up to the resolution date.
Several factors could influence the price action in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, suspensions, or changes in coaching staff could significantly shift trader sentiment. Unexpected weather conditions at the match location could also play a role, potentially affecting the style of play and the final score. Furthermore, pre-match analysis from soccer experts and updated team lineups released closer to the game could all contribute to price movements. Monitoring these signals and events will be crucial for anyone looking to trade in this market before it resolves.
