Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from those set by traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks establish lines based on their own analysis and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to express their belief about the outcome. If a significant discrepancy exists between prediction market probabilities and sportsbook odds, it could indicate that the market believes the sportsbook has mispriced the event. However, it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities, and neither guarantees the actual result.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring. As more people buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing reflects the collective intelligence of the market participants. The market’s price is determined solely by supply and demand for shares on Polymarket.
This market resolves around Sep 30, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Ivnytskyi vs. Boklah match, as reported by recognized sports authorities. This ensures a fair and transparent outcome for all participants. The platform will verify the result against publicly available information to determine which outcome corresponds to the actual event result and settle the market accordingly.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before Sep 30, 2026.
