Prediction market odds often differ from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect the collective wisdom of traders rather than set bookmaker margins. In this market, the probability weighting can be more volatile and may diverge from sportsbook favorites based on sharp money or insider sentiment. Traders watch for these differences as potential value signals, especially when prediction market implied probabilities drift away from sportsbook lines. The contrast can highlight where market participants see opportunity or risk distinct from conventional odds.
