Frequently asked questions

On Polymarket, the dashboard for the Fitriadi vs Ferguson tennis match tracks real-time odds and historical price movements as traders buy and sell shares tied to the match outcome. The interface displays current market probability, 24-hour trading volume, and order book depth, giving you a live snapshot of how the prediction market is pricing this ITF event. You can monitor how sentiment shifts as new information emerges, from player form updates to court conditions, all reflected in the changing odds throughout the trading day.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are driven by traders seeking to profit on accurate forecasts. Comparing this market's implied probability to major sportsbook lines can reveal where the crowd on Polymarket sees edge or disagreement. Sharp bettors monitor both venues to spot mispricings, though prediction markets tend to aggregate dispersed information efficiently over time.

On Polymarket, traders set the odds through an automated market maker that adjusts prices based on buy and sell pressure. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Shares representing each outcome trade continuously, and the current price of a yes-share directly reflects the market's probability estimate. As more traders back one outcome, the price rises; conversely, selling pressure drives it down. This mechanism ensures that the market price incorporates all available information and trader conviction in real time.

This market resolves around Jul 10, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution hinges on the official match result—whether Fitriadi or Ferguson emerges victorious. Once the match concludes and the result is documented by recognized tennis authorities or major sports news outlets, the market will settle accordingly, paying out traders who backed the correct outcome.

Player injury reports, recent tournament performance, head-to-head records, and court surface conditions are key catalysts that can shift odds significantly. News of either competitor's form, fitness updates, or withdrawal announcements will trigger immediate repricing. Weather forecasts closer to the match date, seeding changes, or draws affecting the tournament bracket may also influence trader positioning. Real-time match developments—such as early set results if live trading is enabled—could create sharp moves as bettors update their conviction.
