Prediction market odds in this market often differ from traditional sportsbook lines due to the decentralized nature of trader-driven pricing. While sportsbooks may set their lines based on analytical models and historical data, prediction markets reflect the collective wisdom of participants, which can lead to sharper or more volatile pricing. Traders on Polymarket set prices based on their own assessments of each player's chances, potentially creating divergences from sportsbook favorites. Monitoring both can provide insight into where public sentiment leans versus institutional forecasts.
