This market resolves around Sep 5, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result hinges on the official match result from the tournament organizers, which is then checked against widely accepted sports news sources. Traders can track announcements from the venue or tennis associations to anticipate the final confirmation, but the market settles based solely on publicly verifiable data at that time.
Injuries, weather delays, or last-minute player withdrawals could shift this market dramatically before Sep 5, 2026. Strong performance in practice sessions, recent form updates, or changes to tournament scheduling may also sway trader sentiment. Any news that alters the perceived likelihood of either competitor winning—whether from official announcements or reputable tennis analysts—can cause rapid price adjustments on Polymarket as participants react to new information.
