On Polymarket, this market reflects trader sentiment rather than traditional sportsbook lines. Prediction market odds adjust continuously based on real-time trading activity and volume of $1,384, allowing for dynamic shifts as new information emerges. Sportsbook odds, in contrast, are set by professional oddsmakers and may incorporate broader market factors, including public betting trends and historical performance. While both aim to predict outcomes, prediction markets often show sharper reactions to immediate news, such as player injuries or weather updates, whereas sportsbooks may smooth volatility to manage risk.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, traders continuously submit bids and asks that determine the current probability for each possible outcome. The top outcome’s displayed chance reflects the collective assessment of all active participants, adjusted for liquidity and recent trading volume. This dynamic process allows prices to shift rapidly in response to new information or shifts in trader confidence.
This market resolves around Sep 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result is determined by the official match conclusion, and the market will close based on the confirmed winner at that time.
