On Polymarket, this market reflects trader sentiment rather than traditional sportsbook lines. Prediction market odds adjust continuously based on real-time trading activity, capturing nuanced probabilities that may diverge from sportsbook odds, which often include a built-in house edge and broader market assumptions. The dynamic nature of this market allows for faster updates to shifting expectations, whereas sportsbooks may update less frequently. Traders can benefit from these differences, especially when there’s a mismatch between the two pricing models.
This market resolves around Aug 31, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result is determined by the official match result, which is then automatically matched to the market’s predefined outcomes. No manual intervention is required beyond the platform’s standard verification process.
Several signals could influence this market before Aug 31, 2026.
