On Polymarket, the odds in this market reflect trader sentiment rather than traditional sportsbook lines. Prediction markets often price in nuanced factors like player form and injury updates that sportsbooks may lag behind, resulting in different implied probabilities. While sportsbooks set fixed odds based on broader analytics, this market updates continuously as new information emerges and trader positions shift. The difference can sometimes show where public betting diverges from trader conviction, especially as the tournament progresses and conditions change.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, traders manually set the odds for this market through buying and selling shares, which determines the implied probability for each outcome. The current top outcome’s chance is reflected in its percentage, and volume indicates overall interest. Liquidity and trader activity directly influence price discovery, allowing rapid adjustments as new information emerges.
