Prediction market odds in this market often differ from traditional sportsbook lines due to trader dynamics and liquidity levels. While sportsbooks may set their lines based on analytics and risk management, prediction markets let participants bet directly on outcomes, which can lead to sharper or more volatile pricing. Traders on Polymarket price in real-time sentiment and new information, so this market’s odds may diverge from sportsbook odds, especially as match-specific news or injuries surface.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, traders set the odds through their bets, creating a dynamic price that reflects the current balance of buy and sell orders. The top outcome’s chance is displayed as a percentage, showing what the majority of traders believe is most likely.
